San Diego first. Then the Southwest.
Domo grows city by city, not project by project. A cluster of buildings in one metro turns a factory, a crew and an operations team into a production system, and that system travels.
Approximate, across eight projects, and growing.
One built and operating, one in production, six in development.
Target factory output as markets cluster.
The Southwest, in sequence.
A region is not a market. A city is.
Domo enters a metro and stays. San Diego is the first production market: a factory, about 1,100 permitted units, eight projects and an operating community. The same model extends outward across the Southwest, one city at a time.
| Now | San Diego, California. Factory running, one community operating, project two in production, six more permitted and in development. |
|---|---|
| Next | Southern California beyond San Diego, Arizona and Nevada. Served from the San Diego line, then by added capacity. |
| Then | New Mexico, Colorado and Texas, as factory output grows toward 4,000 units a year. |
The San Diego pipeline
Eight projects, about 1,100 permitted units, all on the standard chassis and all served by one factory, one construction crew and one operations team.
Project details are shared with capital partners and agencies on request.
Density of projects is the efficiency.
A single modular project is a custom job with a factory attached. A cluster of projects in one city is a production system: the same crane crew moves from site to site, the same inspectors learn the same details, the same operations team runs every building and the factory never waits for work.
- F
Factory utilization
A loaded line is a cheap line. Clustered projects keep it loaded.
- C
Crew and logistics
Short hauls on standard flatbeds, one set crew, repeat sequencing.
- M
Municipal familiarity
Inspectors and agencies see the same system project after project.
- O
Operations density
One Domo Living team and one platform across many buildings.
How the roadmap unfolds
Three phases, each one a repeat of the last at larger scale. No phase depends on anything Domo does not already control.
Prove the system in San Diego
- Factory producing at designed capacity
- Hillcrest operating, project two in production
- About 1,100 units permitted across eight projects
- Operations data flowing back to design and factory
Cluster and scale
- Deliver the San Diego pipeline as a production run
- Grow factory output beyond 1,000 units a year
- Open the first markets beyond San Diego: Southern California, Arizona, Nevada
- Chassis revision from the first production cycle
The Southwest
- Added factory capacity toward 4,000 units a year
- New Mexico, Colorado and Texas
- Market-rate, affordable, workforce, student, senior and hospitality on one chassis
- A repeatable system that lowers the cost of housing at scale
